Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

This novella brings light to Angel and David and what happens after he dies. It starts the night David is murdered and doesn’t stop until after their twins are born. It’s sweet and loving and sad all rolled into one emotional rollercoaster of a read.

I felt bad for David as he watched over the woman he loved, unable to do anything. His love for her was undeniable as he tried to protect her any way he could, which wasn’t easy on his emotional state since as a ghost there wasn’t really anything he could do.

Angel seemed torn between trying to do what was right for her and the babies growing inside her (things like sleeping) when she knew David was somehow still with her. She was scared of being pregnant and alone and still carrying so much sadness over missing David that she continued to try and contact him…and in the end she finally gets her wish.

My Favorite Moment: I cried when David got to see his daughters and when he gave Tad one final message for Angel before going where he needed to be.

My Favorite Quote: I love it when David refers to Tad as a con artist. I also enjoyed what Tad told Angel. “If by he you mean the obnoxiously angry ghost who mocking me, yes.”

Overall, I give this 5 stars!
