Review of Devil on her Shoulder (A Ravenwood Circle Story #3) by T. Lee Alexis

Genre: Erotic Romance

Book Length (Est.): 79 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

For Lane Kaplan, one forbidden fantasy has always twisted in her mind. Whenever she saw two handsome men grabbing a drink or playing basketball, she could not keep the lurid vision from her thoughts. But now thoughts of fantasies are gone.

This year has been a world of ashes. One cheating husband and one divorce later, Lane is free from a horrible marriage but cannot shake the gloom of a broken heart. The chances of finding one man able to tease a fevered arousal from her seem long indeed. Finding two is a sweet delusion.

But when her friend Eva plants a wonderfully bad idea into her ear, Lane’s watchful eye on the handsome young intern in her office turns into a predator’s gaze.

“Don’t worry about finding love,” Eva tells her. “What you need to do is take out your frustration on some young hard body. Men have been chasing interns for years. It’s time we catch up.”

It was a dangerous, ridiculous temptation, but one with the power to start Lane down a wild path. With Kyle wrapped around her desires, she finds fantasies, with the right mindset, have a strange power to become scorching realities.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Sometimes all someone needs to follow a dream is a gentle push in the right direction. Lane’s push comes from her best friend Eva. After learning a few surprising secrets her friend had been keeping she decides ‘why not’ and goes for it.

After a divorce and a cheating husband Lane has lost herself, but with a renewed fantasy inching its way into the light – thanks to the devil on her shoulder – she finds the courage to follow through with what she wants. And her intern, Kyle, is exactly who she wants. He’s more than she had imagined and can bring her sensations she’d never thought possible…including her ultimate fantasy. A Christmas to remember. One filled with her, Kyle, Kyle’s roommate Justin, and a very nice hotel room.

It’s amazing what you can discover when you let your reservations fade away and you desires take hold.

My Favorite Moment: When Lane opens her mouth for the first time, pushing all fears away and says what she wants in spite of what others and even society itself would make her think as wrong.

Overall, I give this 4.5 stars!
