Review of Zandor (Men of Steel #3) by MJ Fields

Genre: Romance, Erotica

Book Length (Est.): 285 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Zandor Steel had spent the better part of the past year in Italy helping to oversee the building of a posh casino resort. A playground for the rich and famous. A place any man with money could afford to live a life of leisure and pleasure.

After hearing about what had been going on back at the Jersey Shore he knew he must return to help his brother’s remember who they were. Jase and Cyrus the oldest of the Steel brothers had been his sexual mentors. They taught him to never get attached, to know the difference between your dick and your heart, never give false hope to a female, and that sex should be used for nothing more than a physical release and recreation. He hopped a plane and raced home in hopes that he could stop yet another one of his brothers from making a mistake. Little did he know he was going to come face to face with a beautiful southern Bell, Bekah George, who would challenge everything he thought he desired.

Zandor knew his expectation in the bedroom were not for the faint of heart. He had lived a year living out his sexual fantasies. He required control and trust in order to fill his deep dark sexual needs. He saw in Bekah the same raw untamed heat that burned within him. The strong, sexual, woman who he had met turned out to be a bit broken. Will he stay to see if the spark will ignite into a flame of passion or run back to the lifestyle he had grown to enjoy. To the clubs, the kink, the control and the woman he left behind that could fill his needs without expecting anymore. Or is Zandor, in too deep?

Jennifer’s Review:

I still love Cyrus the most, but Zandor is by far the funniest. I swear I laughed non-stop for the first half of the book and then continued here and there throughout. He’s rude, crude, and completely obnoxious…and you can’t help but love him.

Aleszandor Steel thought his brothers, Jase and Cyrus, were both completely insane for settling down, but one look at Bekah and he felt the stirrings immediately. He taunted her, pissed her off, and did things he probably shouldn’t have in order for her to spend more time with him, but he did always speak his mind, and I’ve gotta love him for that.

Bekah just wants to be happy. By being on both a food and men diet she’s actually finding herself again. She loves her new job at Forever Steel, she just hates her mentor, Zandor. He drives her crazy. And after one dance he’ll drive her crazy in a whole new way.

They both have trust issues and it takes them a few ups and downs before getting it right, but since all these yummy Steel boys get their Happily Ever Afters, Zandor will be no different.

Oh, but just wait for the epilogue. Just when you think everything is working out there’s something big (oh and definitely kind of funny) that happens.

My Favorite Laughable Moments: Since I have declared this one to be the funniest in the series I just have to share some of the moments that had me laughing so hard I was crying.

A little girl talk can be quite hilarious, but it’s even better when you discover they aren’t the only ones who hear it, or later when the overheard conversations is thrown back at her.

“I like it, it’s hot. What would you say in bed though? Fuck me, Zandor, harder Zandor! OH ZANDOR!”

Oh my goodness, he just can’t handle her cussing or her diet, and I love it! The never ending banter between them is sheer perfection.

“Two words Kitten, that’s all I ask.”

“Fuck and cock?”

“You’re in so much trouble. I’m gonna…”

“Spank me?”

“Holy fuck.” He grabbed my hips. “Keep that shit up and we won’t be friends.”

“Oh no? What will we be?”

“Buddies, Bekah.”

“Buddies, huh?” I turned around and looked up in his now nearly cinnamon eyes.

“Yeah, buddies.”

“The difference?”

“My cock between your legs.”

“A buddy would ruin my diet.”

“You’d be glad.”

I’ve actually been in a situation close to this one and it was just as funny then. When a friend and a brother are in the next room and you can hear everything through the thin walls. Better yet…the headboard incident.

“Do you have fucking ear plugs in here?”

“Seriously it’s your brother, you mentored him through his first why not hang out for the sequel?”

Now for one of the funniest things I think I’ve ever heard…

“Good thing condoms are reversible.”

“Oh yeah, how’s that work?”

“Turn it inside out and shake the fuck out of it.”

There are seriously so many more in this book, but I’ll save the rest for you to discover all on your own.
