Book Length (Est.): 212 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

The Rocking Romance books are a COLLECTION not a SERIES, so there is no need to read them in order. Different characters, different settings. All involve rock star main characters.

Like so many others, their romance started in Las Vegas…

He’s a rock star. She’s an ad exec. After almost having a one night affair in Sin City, Josh can’t get Cassie out of his mind. Why had she run out on him?

Like so many others, their romance started with a shot of tequila…

When the Josh Dunningham of Money Back Guaranteed tries to seduce her, Cassie is taken aback. Sure, he’s hot. And he could definitely rock her world. But can she have a fling with a man she doesn’t even know?

Like so many others, their romance turned rocky…

When Cassie returns to Chicago and finds a ten-foot tall Josh Dunningham on a radio station’s banner across from her office, she is tortured by memories of their short time together. When they meet again, things explode—in a bad way—and Josh has to prove himself to Cassie to earn her trust. But will he succeed when outside forces also want to tear them apart? When Cassie receives threatening letters and is attacked in her home, Josh is determined to find out who is behind it. But will the stalker’s encore performance bring an end to their show once and for all?

Jennifer’s Review:

Rock Me, Gently is another great book in the Rocking Romance Series.

Everything happens so quickly it kind of felt like bam-bam-bam, but definitely in a good way. There’s no time to get bored; it’s filled with romance, action, and a fun-loving rock star.

Josh loves the limelight of being a rock star. To him there’s no thrill like being on stage. But one night, which hadn’t turned out as planned, has him missing someone he’d just met. It takes a best friend like Ryan to get him to realize why he’s in the funk he is and how to get out of it. Love Ryan!

“Matching red, lace underwear. Of course she did. God, don’t women know what that does to a man?”

Cassie doesn’t have a lot of experience with men, but the little she does have was enough to scar her and leave her hesitant and unsure of how to handle certain scenarios. She begins to let her walls down around Josh only to have him ruin what little trust she’d allowed him.

“It’s the thrill of the chase. I should just sleep with you and get it over with. Then we could both go our separate ways.”

Cassie may think she’s done with men, including Josh, but he’s determined to get her back by any means necessary.

“He didn’t think he could love a woman more. One who liked sports and could keep him in his place; now that was a find.”

Compared to the other books in the series, this one had more of a sweetness factor. Don’t get me wrong, it still has violence and light suspense, but it was more on the gentle side (with the exception of one or two crazy moments with slightly…okay maybe more than slightly…crazy people). Mix in an awesome best friend like Ryan, a crazy and loudmouth best friend like Heather, and you’ve got a book that’ll grab you from chapter one.

My Favorite Laughable Moments: The night they met…particularly the pool part, but I also loved it when they discussed ‘stalker’ songs. Then of course there’s karaoke night. That was freaking hilarious! Nothing like a little R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

My Favorite Moment: A special onstage performance orchestrated by Josh.

“He had this all planned…all of it…”

  1. Dude, you write really great reviews! I love the way you ended this one! I can’t wait to read your book! I love that you get my rockers and their mates and am so appreciative of the time the took to read and review my books. Although, gosh! You read and reviewed all four in like a week! Wishing you all the best in your writing endeavors!

  2. Thanks, and yeah I kind of read a lot. I should be writing but I’m getting ready to move and I can’t get my head in it with half my house packed and boxes everywhere, so I’ve been reading a little more than usual.

I really enjoyed these and you can always send me the future ones, I’d be happy to review then too.

    Good luck!
    Jenn
