Firefighter Ex-Military Men…Could that combo be any hotter!
Genre: Contemporary Romance, Military Romance
Book Length (Est.): 252 Pages
The heat is on…
Book 1 in the ‘Wild Heat’ series—the hottest new fireman trilogy of the fall!
Cassie Wolford has crushed on fireman Quinn Gallagher ever since he moved to Clearwater three years ago. There’s just one problem: he’s always made it clear dating is out of the question. But once a Wolford sets their sights on someone, that person doesn’t stand a chance! Cassie decides it’s time for Quinn to get a dose of his own medicine… and sets out to show him what he’s missing!
Quinn knows only too well what Cassie’s up to but he can’t give her what she wants. He isn’t good for anyone, much less someone as sweet as his angel. Fighting her off hurts like hell, but giving her false hope of a happy ever after would be damn cruel. That’s why he has to leave Clearwater.
Unfortunately, someone from his past has different ideas and when Cassie’s life is threatened this former CIA operative is staying put, prepared to crawl through hell and back to keep her safe. And it looks like he might just have to.

I have so many highlights I don’t know where to begin…
For starters, Cassie is a smart mouth woman who knows what she wants and isn’t afraid to go after it. She will let nothing get in the way of her having Quinn. She loves him, she wants to marry him, hell…she wants to sleep with him too, and if he thinks she’ll just up and let him leave town he’s got another thing coming.
Quinn has a past that still haunts him. He’s kept a pretty tight lid on it, but his PTSD brings flashbacks and takes away pieces of his memory. He knows he’s screwed up, it’s the only reason he’s never made a move on the woman he loves. He can hardly stand living with himself; no one else should have to.
How to Seduce a Fireman is filled with humor, family, love, and suspense, and it’s a pretty good combination if you ask me. The humor is all Cassie based. I mean what that girl can do to a U-Haul is quite entertaining, so is her taste in gifts, and her ability to stand up for her man…even if it is to his father. It also shows what lengths a family will go through in a time of need. The love Cassie and Quinn share for each other fills the pages. And oh my god, no way you’ll guess whose behind all the threats. The first person I never saw coming, didn’t expect it whatsoever, but the rest was kind of anticipated.
The only thing I did not like is the ending. There was no major cliffhanger, no major lead-in into the next book, it just kind of ended. It leaves a lot of questions and of course you’ll want to read more, because you’ll have to know how it turns out, but be prepared to turn a page and there be nothing there.
My Favorite Laughable Moment: Option C. Quinn can do crazy like no other. His version of clearing the shark tank had me in tears from laughing so hard.
My Favorite Moment: A hospital conversation between Quinn and Cassie…oh yeah, and the doctor.
