Dang… What a Day!
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Book Length (Est.): 185 Pages
“Wild about Weston” is the fifth of six books about the last of the Philadelphia-based, wildly-handsome English brothers who are all on the look-out for love.
(Wait a second! They’re definitely NOT all on the look-out for love anymore. Not if Emily, Daisy, Jess and Val have any say in the matter. Weston’s the last single English…oh, yeah. And Kate. Poor Kate…)
When Weston English’s girlfriend breaks up with him to move to Italy on the morning of his brother Fitz’s wedding, he fully expects to have a horrible day. What he doesn’t anticipate is meeting Molly McKenna.
Daisy’s friend, Molly, whose fiance dumped her the night before the wedding, decides to throw caution to the wind and eschew her schoolteacher persona for a wild, one-night stand with Weston.
From the ceremony to cocktail hour, to dinner and dancing, to toasts and photos and the cake, Molly and Weston will discover that they have more in common than they could have guessed, and some horrible endings lead to the happiest beginnings.
*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*
Wild About Weston is unlike any other book in this series. It’s an up and down rollercoaster ride of emotions, mixed in with a little craziness, a fist or two flying, a thunder and lightning type romance, and holy cow it all happens in like a twenty-four hour time period.
Weston is on the rebound after a yearlong on again off again romance ended. Molly is on the rebound after her long term fiancé shattered her world with a single phone call. And they’re both stuck at a wedding, which is not the best of places to be with a broken heart.
“They’d do the deed, he’d cut the cord with Connie, and he’d move on. Slam, bam, thank you, single, bitter, uninvited wedding guest. Don’t mind if I do.”
Molly wants to drown her sorrows in wine and a sexy blonde. Weston wants to bury himself in the red headed spitfire. Neither will get what they wanted. Both will get more than they bargained for.
“But, the heat we have? It’s like you were made for me. I’ve never felt anything like it before. I could live inside of your body.”
For the life of me I just couldn’t get over the fact this all happened in such a short time frame. I mean they basically hook up and break up like three or four times in one dang night. Talk about a crazy relationship. I think I would have called it a night way before either of them thought about doing so.
My Favorite Laughable Moment: Molly’s version of the wedding vows.
“Love is patient and kind…and doesn’t knock up the art teacher.”
