Marisa Tanner’s multi-billion dollar client is being sued by multiple employees for sexual harassment. Marisa is very good at handling these cases but when she has to work with the CEO’s son she starts to see the disadvantage of this case. However, the case involving so many employees is very bizarre and will take lots of work on her part.
Trip Brannon works for his family’s business and loves what he does. Having a hot lawyer working a case for them with prove difficult because she is all he can think about.
Clients are off limits for Marisa. Knowing she could lose the job that she loves is not worth the risk. Trip is playing hard ball and wants a relationship with Marisa. They both really like each other and to have a relationship with each other would consist of asking Trip’s father’s permission and having it in writing.
This was a fun read. I had no idea someone could be so creative when sex cannot be on the table. While trying to unravel a corporate conspiracy and keep a relationship on the down low shows just how strong of a woman that Marisa is. I really like Trip, he is not your typical alpha male but when he knows what he wants he will stop at nothing to get it. And right now he really wants Marisa.
My Favorite Moment: Oh my all-time favorite moment was when Marisa and Trip go to dinner at her best friend’s house. Oh the things kids say!
