Review of Bear Trap by Ruby Dalton

Bear Trap

One Bewitched Bear

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Book Length (Est.): 54 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

When Keres, a curvy witch with a rockin’ body and a headstrong personality thought she’d left her past behind her, HE turns up to make her remember.

Finnlo had done something unforgiveable, something she thought she could never get over, but this Bear needs his mate and he will do anything to win her back. He didn’t realise what losing her meant, but magic and hot sex is a helluva combination. Even the sassiest, stubborn witch can’t hold out forever.

Reader’s Note: This is a hot little short. It is not a full length novel, so if you’re after something short and sweet, jump right on in. Contains adult language, a little violence and sizzling sex of the panty-droppingly hot shifter variety.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Keres is a witch whose love walked away at the worst time in a teenagers life…leaving her alone and pregnant. Finnlo is a bear shifter who has always wanted Keres, but teenagers sometimes do stupid things.

For such an unforgivable thing Keres sure forgive and forget quite easily. I understand the fierce passion between a bear and his mate, but Finnlo and Keres have a past that seems almost dismissed except to add for a little bit of indecision on her part.

“I didn’t move and tried not to make a sound, half of that was not wanting to speak to him and the other half – that was all just lost in a fantasy as he stood bare ass naked in front of me, hardly more than a few inches away.”

In a world where witches and shifters cannot be together sometimes love finds loop holes.

Bear Trap is definitely a quickie read. It has drama, violence, angst, and hot passionate sex. This would have made for one hell of a full story, but if you want something quick it’ll do.

My Favorite MomentI loved Finnlo’s explanation of what it meant to be her mate.
