Perfect for readers of Joanna Blake and Sawyer Bennett, hailed as “charming, sexy, and smart” by Lauren Layne, the Bad Boys of Baseball series from award-winning author Katie Rose heats up as a homegrown baseball star returns to snag the one that got away.
When veteran catcher Connor Jackson gets traded to the New Jersey Sonics, he welcomes the opportunity to possibly cap his career with a World Series ring in his home state. But there’s another reason Connor is glad things have come full circle. In pursuit of hardball glory, he left behind his college sweetheart, the one girl he could never forget. Seeing her again stirs up long-lost desires . . . and this time, he’s determined not to strike out.
A divorced mother of four, Tracy Coleman no longer aspires to gossip-mag glam—but she’ll make an exception for a date with Connor. Their chemistry is hotter than ever, and being alone with him is more seductive than she anticipated. Who could blame her for leaving out a little detail like the kids? Now all she has to do is come clean and convince the man of her dreams that they—Connor, Tracy, and her children—have a future together.

Connor Jackson gets traded to the New Jersey Sonics as the starting catcher. Thinking this will be his last year before retirement he hopes to win the World Series in his home state. Being back home will also give him a chance to rekindle his relationship with the one he left behind to pursue his career.
Tracy Coleman is a single mother to four adorable children. Recently divorced from a man that thought he could live two separate lives has taken its toll on Tracy. After hearing the news that Connor is back in town brings back romantic memories that she would long to feel again. Being a fan of the Sonics brings her face to face with the man that she has never forgot about.
This was a very fun and sweet read. Tracy is scared that once Connor learns about the children he will run for the hills. However once Connor finds out he is wondering if he should run for the hills. Once their relationship starts to blossom all of the old feelings come rushing back for both of them. Connor tries really hard to become part of the kids life as he wants to spend the rest of his with Tracy by his side. Of course, the only thing standing in their way of happiness is Tracy’s ex-husband. Connor has a protectiveness over Tracy and the kids and will stop at nothing to make sure everyone is happy.
Everyone knows that I love baseball. I love how this series focuses on the main characters but still gives us a taste of what is happening on the field. This is the fourth book in Bad Boys of Baseball series. What can I say I love this series!
My Favorite Moment: I love how Connor shows his love of Tracy to the world.
