Micah was the mask. Prince was the man.
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Book Length (Est.): 184 pages
Sparks fly when a society belle and a biker with a troubled past get down and dirty in the Big Easy. Maisey Yates turns up the heat in the sizzling finale of a series co-written with Megan Crane, Rachael Johns, and Jackie Ashenden.
Micah Carpenter hates New Orleans. Hell, after ten years he no longer has much affection for the Deacons of Bourbon Street motorcycle club, either. But when the brotherhood calls, Micah answers. Joining the hunt for their mentor’s killer, he crosses paths with a Southern belle who exudes class—and sex appeal. Micah knows better than to mess with ice princesses: No matter how hot things get, they never melt. And yet he can’t stop himself from offering her a taste of the wrong side of the tracks.
Sarah Delacroix understands that reputation is everything. The daughter of a prominent family rocked by scandal, she’s desperate to restore their good name. Micah’s exactly the kind of man she should be avoiding. Behind his sleek and sophisticated exterior beats the heart of a predator—and she knows it. But, like the tattoos beneath his tailored suit, his rough edges are irresistible. And all too soon Sarah finds him getting under her skin . . . and living out every one of her hottest fantasies.

Micah “Prince” Carpenter was also one of the original guys in The Deacons of Bourbon Street MC that was sent away ten years ago on Priest’s orders. Now that he must return to New Orleans to help find out who killed their president, he wants nothing more than to go back to his life, his career and act like his past never happened.
Sarah Delacroix is from a family that reputation means everything. Or so she thinks. She wants to plan a Christmas party at her family’s mansion that no one will forget. Being rich has its perks. Her dreams are almost shattered when she finds a man standing in her mansion that says he owns it and is there to protect her.
I enjoyed reading the forth book in The Deacons of Bourbon Street series. I finally got some of the answers that I have been looking for. YAY! We finally find out that a rich and powerful family has lots of secrets and might just be tied to Priests murder. The best part of the book is watching the chemistry between Micah and Sarah blossom. She is a rich girl that never wants for anything except for acceptance and love. For the first time in her life she feels that with Micah. But when the secrets from ten years ago surface it might just break them before they even start. The passion that they have between them is hot but even that can burn out.
My Favorite Moment: I really enjoyed when Micah had to explain what the Deacons of Bourbon Street is and what it means to Sarah. It really makes you wonder if rich people are that sheltered.
