Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

I love how this book begins. Two strangers unable to stop watching each other and never knowing the other one witnessed their private moments of pleasure. There’s nothing like coming face to face with the one person who made you lose control and starred in your fantasies. It’s an explosion waiting to happen.

Tessa is a nurse who works late hours, when she comes home one night to discover her apartment had been violated there will come sunshine to her gloom in the form of Officer Donovan. He’ll protect her and make her feel safe…even going way beyond the means of his job.

Quinn is a homicide detective who wasn’t looking for anything serious, but once he laid eyes on Tessa and realized who she was there was no stopping the desire that raged inside him or the lengths he’d go to protect her. He’s overly sweet and always tries to do the right things, even when he’d rather do anything but.

“I’ll stay with you tonight, as long as you need me here. I’ll sleep on the couch. Or you can stay in my apartment. You can sleep in my bed and I’ll take the couch. And maybe tomorrow, after we both…settle down, we can talk about this. Figure out what’s happening here and what we want to do about it.”

She leaned back and a tiny smile curved her mouth. Her eyes twinkled. “Aren’t those supposed to be the woman’s lines, Donovan? Aren’t I supposed to be the one who wants to talk about it? The one who asks if you’ll respect me in the morning?”

She determined to keep things casual because of a past that still haunts her.

He’s determined to have her no matter the odds.

Watch Me is hot, their chemistry sizzles upon the pages, and there’s just enough suspense to keep you on edge wondering what will happen next. The storyline will draw you in, but the characters will keep you addicted.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: There’s just something humorous about a little extra attention at a baseball game, especially when Rose shows up.
