Review of Decker by Eden Summers

“I want her. I need her.”

Genre: Thriller & Suspense, Organized Crime, Romance

Length: 405 Pages

POV:  Alternating First Person

Description:

He protected me from danger and became my biggest threat.

He’s my defender. My savior.
A brutally determined man with a cocky smirk and an equally cocky attitude.

Broad. Strong. Focused.
He seduces me with his flirtation.
Warms me with his care.

But he’s hiding something.
There are ulterior motives beyond his concern for my security.
A thirst for more than my safe keeping.

I can’t fall for him. Can’t be tempted by his touch.

Not when he can’t be trusted.

But questioning my protector means I’ve now become his target.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author.*

Decker begins right where Hunter left off.

From reading Hunter I assumed Decker was just his right hand man, but he has his own agendas. His own secrets. And they are ones that put them all in jeopardy.

“Don’t treat you like glass. Don’t get cocky. Don’t shove my dick up your ass. Jeez, Keira, you’re a bossy little thing.”

Keira is basically a mob princess. Decker is being charged with her safety. Can you spell disaster with betrayal? Sprinkle in a little lust and heads will roll.

“He was mind-blowing. He rocked my world. I saw stars and unicorns, and maybe a baby llama, too.”

There’s never a dull moment. Decker is full of twists, turns, and even cliffs to jump off. I want to go into detail, but I don’t want to give anything away. All I can say is it is definitely worth the read! Eden Summers knows how to do suspense.
