Review of Hell’s Mistress (Infernal Love #1) by Viola Calvary

“…you have a tendency towards arrogance…”

Genre: Paranormal Romance

Length: 197 Pages

POV: Third Person

Description:

“I want to do so many things to you, but tonight let me just taste that wildness buried in your soul.”

Cora wasn’t looking for love and she certainly wasn’t looking for Luc. Clever, devilishly handsome, and with dark eyes filled with wicked promises, his magnetism leaves her breathless. She can’t get him out of her thoughts no matter how much good sense tells her she should walk away.

Luc’s been looking for Cora. For longer than she could even imagine. Now that he’s found her, he’s not letting her go without a fight. Unfortunately someone with far more sadistic designs has found her, too, and is willing to start that fight.

Cora soon discovers that Luc is much more than he appears and that their bond transcends distance, space, and even death. She’s drawn into his world of gods, demons, and a struggle for power where the fate of it all rests squarely on her shoulders.

Steamy, sensual, and suspenseful this devilish romance is for mature audiences only.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author.*

Cora was incredible at her job. Her love life not so much. Her fiancé left her for her sister. Oh ya that’s great for the old morale. Then she met this man at a business meeting and was drawn to him. Something she hurriedly ran away from. She didn’t want any part of that kind of sizzling connection…that is until he followed her and swept her off her feet.

Luc wanted his queen back beside him. He’d searched for Persephone’s reincarnated soul and finally found her. The pull toward Cora was one he’d missed for so long. Now all he had to do was get her to trust him so he could tell her the truth.

“I know you can handle it. But are you ready to see what I do to them? This is Hell and I’m not known for compassion.”

Although timing never works as you plan and when Cizin’s demons attack her in her own home she realizes she’s not in Kansas anymore and literally follows her heart and Luc into Hell where she can discover her true nature and aid in a battle that’s raged for an eternity.

Hell’s Mistress puts an intriguing twist on Hell and has you actually on the side of Lucifer. It’s crazy! And yet it’s not! I loved the way Cora desired to help and refused to give up. I enjoyed the way the demons all banded together to protect her. I just enjoyed it altogether and I’m looking forward to seeing where this new series goes.
