Review of Moon Kissed (The Outlier Prophecies #8) by Tina Gower

“That’s where I went wrong.”

Genre: Paranormal Romance, Suspense

Length: 240 Pages

POV: First Person

Description:

A sinister crime. A careless coverup. An impossible secret. Will Kate and Ian solve the case before they become the next victims?

Kate Hale would rather remain an invisible pencil pusher, but that’s been impossible since she broke the biggest insider predictions scandal in history. Time away on a case with her pack seems like the perfect solution, however, she can’t work the investigation if she’s served a restraining order on arrival.

The team rushes to find a loophole in their time-sensitive case to unravel an underground werewolf blood market. Are the members of the local Texas wolf pack innocent victims or are they in on the job?

In the midst of mounting evidence against their new pack allies, Kate and Detective Ian Becker receive news that will turn their pack upside down. If they don’t act quickly, they will forever be shunned from werewolf society.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author.*

It’s been awhile since I read the last Outlier book and I worried I’d forget who everyone was, but Tina does a wonderful job at recapping just enough so you remember exactly who everyone was.

Kate is the alpha of their abnormal pack. It’s not exactly something she’d planned on, but she wants to be with Ian and with him being a wolf, pack life comes with him. Although to make it a true pack and for them to be true mates in the eyes of other packs then they have to have a traditional mating ceremony and boy is that interesting.

I enjoyed following the Angel’s Peak Pack as they actually became more of a pack. They’re learning to work together in their new roles and everything is coming together for them. They may not be a traditional pack, but they’re slowly earning the respect of other packs.

Moon Kissed is another great book in the Outlier Prophecy Series. With Kate, Ian, Ali, Goya, Dalia, Abbott, and the baby there is never a dull moment in this suspenseful journey of discovering who the culprits are. And there is a little twist that I didn’t expect, which made it all the better.
