To become undone.
To take apart.
To destroy.
I thought I had it all with my well-respected job, Hollywood boyfriend, and glamorous lifestyle. Until the truth revealed a different story. In one day, after a single word, my carefully constructed life was obliterated.
But it’s only the beginning of my spiral. There’s much further to fall.
Then I meet him. He’s the perfect man at the most imperfect time. It’s only meant to be a one night stand. A last fling before my new reality sets in. But he has different ideas. Because he doesn’t know the truth. Once he finds out, I’m convinced he’ll realize this is too much for a new relationship. He’s sure to cut and run. It’s for the best really.
After all, how can I possibly fall in love when I’m falling apart?

First of all let me give a mascara warning: you’ll need tissues!
Layla is an amazing woman. When they say bad things come in threes they mean it. She has one thing right after the other happen and yet she remains determined. That is until she received a text from her brother to play a fake girlfriend to his best friend and then everything changes.
Kellan just wanted to hang out and do a little fantasy football with his friends. He never expected to see his ex there, but much to his surprise he had a fake girlfriend there for the rescue. And damn did she knock his socks off.
“You keep crying every time I kiss you, and I’m likely to develop a complex.”
A fake display ended up a one night stand which ended up a whole lot more.
Unraveled is an emotional journey for the hopeless romantic. Layla goes through cancer treatments and all the side effects. Kellan tries to be everything she needs to make things easier for her. It’s sweet! And oh my goodness what the family does to be supportive…let me say it again…TISSUES!
“… Did I mention there ma be a direct linage between the number of orgasms you’ll receive and the number of crackers you eat?”
