Jennifer’s Review:
*I received this book free from The Indie Pen PR.*
If I had to use one word for Remy it would be determined. She’s determined to find her own place to live instead of having to stay at her best friend, Jax’s house, when he wasn’t even going to be there, sticking her with his roommate of whom she couldn’t stand. She’s determined to not murder Tristan while she does stay there. And she’s determined not to be one of his one-night stands. She does move into her own place. She does come close to murder, especially after he initiates war via whip cream floor and when he steals her clothes. And she does not become a one-night stand, she, becomes much much more.
“I don’t think there’s a word for the level of mind-blowing that our sexual chemistry is.”
Triston thought a girlfriend would take his focus off of the MMA, but after spending time with Remy he realized he could have the best of both worlds if only he’d admit what he was feeling to himself. Her spitfire attitude and unwillingness to let him beat her in anything only made him want her more. He’d wanted her a long time but respected his roommates and best friend enough to never pursue her. Now that he had her though, nothing could take her away from him…except maybe his own stupid actions.
Remy and Triston are fun and interesting characters. From the pranks they play on each other to the fiery passion they discover for one another there is never really a dull moment. I absolutely loved their chemistry and the way the writing brought the characters to life.
