Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Let me just say that this is one hell of an epilogue. It includes all the couples we fell in love with during the Bad Boys Series along with a few we wondered about. Not to mention a major jump forward at the end for a little extra entertainment.

It’s filled with humor, babies, and lots of sex!

My only suggestion for anyone who reads it is to not read it all in one sitting or you’ll get completely burned out on all the sex scenes like I did.

My Favorite Quotes:

“Since little human beings are coming out of someplace no one but you should ever see. And not like that.” She huffed, cupping the big round mound of her belly while I eased onto 17. “You’re gonna see my cookie. You should’ve had sex with me last night because I’m probably never going to let you back inside.”

Oh and…

“Will you shut those gorgeous blowjob lips for just one second?”

Review of Tail (Carolina Bad Boys #6) by Rie Warren

“Going, going, gone.”

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 236 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

I’m most known for honeys on my arms and notches on my bedpost. But this time, I’m not chasing tail. Every rose has its thorn, and I’ve just been snagged.

I have girls lapping out of my hands, forming lines for a chance to dance on my cock. Until she shows up. And it all grinds to a halt. Madison Rose Rush. No joke there. One look at her, and I feel a rush all over my body. I want that thing all the other dudes found. Love. A mate. A classy broad I probably don’t deserve.

I know one thing.

Maddy Rush—Handsome’s sexy sister—is strictly off-limits.

Is that gonna stop me?

Hell. No. Not even with the Bad Seeds MC breathing down my neck for a debt I can’t pay.

VP of Retribrewtion Brewery, heiress to the Rush Distillery empire, I’ve played by the family’s rules. I’m community-spirited, high-class, worldly-wise . . . but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a good girl.

And Tail makes me want to be bad in ways I never even knew. He’s dangerously gorgeous. He’s affiliated with the same MC as my big brother. He has inked sleeves and sex on the brain and Max warned me away from him.

Is that going to stop me?

Hell no.

Nothing will stop us. Nothing. Until a rival MC—outlaw bikers—retaliates against Tail. Bad Seeds indeed.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Tail is short for Taylor, but everyone thinks his nickname fits because of all the tail that rotates through his room at the clubhouse. That is until he first sees Maddy and then she’s all he wants. Celibate and focused on woman, besides his mama, is new territory for him, but never once does he ever lose sight of his goal…Maddy.

Maddy is Handsome’s sister and runs Retribrewtion with him. The last thing she wants is to have someone with Tail’s reputation hitting on her, but when he starts showing up with babies in tow for office picnics and other random sweet acts it’s hard to keep saying no.

“Newsflash: babies…cute. But babies didn’t crap unicorn and rainbows. What came out of that tiny little bottom was nasty gunky hazardous waste.”

A debt owed to the Bad Seeds who are becoming a little more threatening, an overprotective brother who wants him far away from his sister, and an ill mother who needs constant supervision…just a normal day for Tail. But what keeps a smile on his face? One Maddy Rush.

Tail, like all of the previous Carolina Bad Boys books, was a fantastic read that had just enough suspense to keep the background interesting and just enough steam to keep the pages fired up.

My Favorite Moment: Bachelor action!

Gliding toward the stage, Maddy parted the sea of people. And when she stood directly in front of me as I toyed with the belt buckle at my waist, she looked up at me.

“Five grand.” Her voice rang out over the crowd, silencing all other bidders.

And that was fucking it. Going, going, gone.

Review of Rush (Carolina Bad Boys #5) by Rie Warren

Temptation at its Finest

Genre: Erotica, Suspense, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.): 294 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars . . . I’m the most unsuitable dude for pretty girl-next-door Shiloh Lockhart.

I’m the black sheep of the Rush family, cut off from the bourbon distillery dynasty. Shrug. They didn’t approve of the high-octane rap sheet of arrests marring my pretty boy, prep school upbringing. Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars for illegal street racing—what can I say? Speed is in my blood.

Now I’ve cleaned up. I’m being good. I’ve got my own plans, and they for damn sure don’t include Shiloh Lockhart. Shy. The goddamn classic girl next door. She shows up out of the clear blue, turning all the MC dudes into drooling manwhores. But not me. I’ve got too much to lose to risk falling for a perfect girl like her.

When Shy’s overprotective folks tell her I’m bad news, they’re right. But come to find out she’s already endured more than her fair share of shit-gone-bad in her life, and she’s convinced I won’t make it any worse. Shy couldn’t be more wrong.

I haven’t seen Max since he got kicked out of the Rush family home years ago. Now I’m determined to get back in touch with the boy I used to crush on growing up. They call him Handsome at the motorcycle club he belongs to, and I can see why. The long dark brown hair. The smoldering whiskey-colored eyes. The sculpted face and big muscled body.

Too bad he’s intent on treating me like a kid sister. Hmm. We’ll see how long that lasts, because to squash this schoolgirl crush I need to be with Max just once . . . turns out one taste of Rush isn’t enough.

My situation is life threatening, but what he’s hiding is even more dangerous. Too late. Rush is already in my blood.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

If you’ve been reading the series then you know who Handsome is. He’s always been kind of the silent one out of the bunch, but pull his hair out of his face and add in a new fitness routine and he has even more ladies drooling than before.

Max (Handsome) was rejected from his family and the lifestyle he once knew, but Retribution is family now and he wouldn’t trade them for anything. They’re supportive of not only him, but his dreams; the way only family should be. When someone from his childhood appears at the clubhouse one day out of nowhere he’s left speechless. No where is the young girl he remembered, and believe me he sure does trying finding her underneath the sexy bombshell she is now.

“Spinning with my hands skimming the excess before it reached my abs, I was heart-stopped by Shy’s hungry look. At Me. Oh God. This wasn’t gonna end good. I needed a T-shirt. Chains to lock me up. To tase myself, maybe, as she advanced.”

Shiloh got dealt a bad hand, but she’s doing everything she can to make the best of it. Now she’s going after the one thing she’s always wanted, but could never have, Max, and she isn’t taking no for an answer. She’s sweet, loveable, and determined; all the things that spell disaster for Max.

“If I told you you just broke me, would you still let me sleep with you on top of me tonight?”

Once Max overcomes the fact he cares for Shiloh they’ll make an unstoppable team. They’ll be there for each other, help each other’s dreams come true, and even be there when disaster strikes. And disaster definitely strikes. My heart broke for Shiloh and what she goes through.

I don’t think I can ever sing enough praise for Rie Warren. Both the Caroline Bad Boys and Bad Boys of Retribution series blends action, suspense, raw emotion, and a sizzling hotness. The characters and storylines intermingle throughout both series and the way it all comes together is pure art. Rush is another example of her greatness.

“We’re gonna go slow. Then I’m gonna fuck you so hard you’ll ask me to drill you into the mattress again, as soon as you get your voice back from screaming my name.”

Review of Chrome: With a Heart Forged In Steele (Carolina Bad Boys #4) by Rie Warren

Steeled Only on the Outside

Genre: Contemporary Romance, Erotica, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.): 312Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Boomer Steele is big. He’s bad. He’s the Retribution MC pres. He’s been dealt the worst hand imaginable and bears the scars inside and out. Not that anyone knows it. He’s watched his younger brother and sister hook up and hitch up with the loves of their lives, and now he’s the last Steele standing alone. Maybe he should keep it that way.

Then one feisty honey makes him feel, gets in his grill, pisses him off.

She goes by the name of Rayce. And that’s exactly what she does on her motocross bike when she’s not busy getting her hands dirty with her fellow grease monkeys as the only female mechanic at Stone’s Garage. She’s into fixing bikes, racing hers, and making Boomer’s life a living hell just for the fun of it. Oh, and she hates being treated like a girl.

Sparks flying? That’s an understatement where these two are concerned. Yet when Rayce needs a place to live, and Boomer offers her a room in his house, their unquenchable attraction wins out over antagonism. Sometimes. Rayce’s crappy upbringing makes her think love is for stupid fools asking for heartbreak. She’s not willing to go there for any man. Not even Boomer Steele.

The bigger they are, the harder they fall.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Rayce is tough, but only on the outside, and only because she has no other choice. She races motorcross, she’s a mechanic, and she has no problem just being one of the guys. But when she’s at home she’s a completely different person…broken and afraid.

“You’re so damn small, princess.”

“Only because you’re a fucking giant.”

Boomer had his eyes on Rayce for quite a while and for everyone who has read the series we’ve all been waiting for the moment they get together. He’s wanted her like no one ever before, he’d even gone on a celibate streak the moment he saw her because he didn’t want anyone but her. Problem is she’s hot and cold and he doesn’t know what to make of it.

“I needed the opposite of Viagra.”

Once Boomer discovers where Rayce is actually from his protective streak multiplies and all he wants is to take care of her, but she’s strong-willed and won’t accept being anyone’s charity case. Not even if her heart truly wants to accept.

In true Rie Warren fashion there’s sex, violence, and a family who always have each other’s backs. Love Retribution! Chrome: With a Heart Forged in Steele is another great book in a the Carolina Bad Boys series. It combines characters from both the Carolina Bad Boys and Bad Boys of Retribution MC, all of which are awesome books and should be added to all MC lovers bookshelves.

My Favorite Moments: I loved all of Rayce’s little mumbles to herself about Boomer.

“Big muscles. Good with babies. Knows how to dance. And can cook. Quadruple hate.”

Review of Coletrane (Bad Boys of Retribution #4) by Rie Warren

Leather & Tattoos Meets Designer & Flawless

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance, Erotica, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 265 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Series finale from the summer MC hit!

From the world of Carolina Bad Boys and Retribution MC, this bad boy biker likes to be in control, and he’s ready to take what he wants.

Her name is Sinclair Chatham. Sin. That’s exactly what she is—walking, talking, in the flesh sin. She’s haughty, privileged, so goddamn starlet sexy, with an ass I want to grab and spank raw.

I want her to give herself over to me. I want her to lose that polished princess veneer. I want to strip away the money, the manicures, the maids, the immaculate façade.

I need her to be mine. But I’m a grunt. A biker. A tattoo artist. I’m blue collar all the way, and her family will probably shit bricks if they ever meet me.

Not to mention, I’m running from a bad past that’s about to catch up with me.

I would never go for Cole in a million years. He’s gruff, rough around the edges—and covered in ink. He’s unapologetic, demanding, and sometimes scary as hell. He tells me what he wants, how he wants it, and why he’s going to ruin me for all other men.

Coletrane destroys my vanity, gets inside my head while he gets into my bed, and I can’t say no to him. He’s not what I expected—tender at times, taking no prisoners at others. He breaks me down, builds me up.

He is not my type.

They say opposites attract, and they’re right. I just didn’t expect him to turn my cushy life upside down and inside out. But it’s too late, and someone’s going to get hurt.

Warning: Graphic sex, graphic action, graphic language. Triple X caution.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Coletrane and Sinclair come from very different backgrounds. His past is dark and filled with many things he regretted and many things he couldn’t change. He’s covered in tattoos and wears chains and is undoubtedly the badass he appears to be. Hers is colored in high society and wrapped in money, something she wears very well. Two different worlds so far apart and yet an attraction that cannot be denied…no matter how hard he tries.

“…I watched Sin suck and swallow and lick her lips as the cold beverage slid down her throat.

She’d probably never swallowed come in her life.”

Coletrane’s past will catch up with him and he’ll do everything within his power to protect Sin from the filth that once corrupted him. There’s only one problem with his desire to do right by her, he didn’t exactly take her wishes into consideration, and she can be one very determined woman.

The characters are easily connected to, their interactions smooth and natural. The three hoodlums put a slight suspense into the pages as you never know what they have up their sleeves. And the sex it steamy hot. It’s a great combination.

Coletrane (Bad Boys of Retribution #4) is the last book in what has been a sizzling hot series. I’ve enjoyed the boys of Retribution and honestly wouldn’t mind reading more as there are a lot more sexy men in there begging to be tamed by the fierce woman who will come to love them. Rie Warren sure knows how to mix sexy and suspense, and her novels are never a disappointment.

What I’ve loved about these books is that they are told from the man’s POV only. It’s nice being inside a man’s head for a change.

My Favorite Moment: Coletrane can clean up quite well, but I don’t think even the suit he was wearing could have prepared him for what Sin had on.

“Sin,” I hissed when she tentatively touched me on the arm. “What the hell are you wearing?”

“Custom made.” She twirled around. “You like?”

Her sea-green eyes had never shone so bright, her red lips never so glossy.

I wanted to bite them.

“Like doesn’t quite cut it. Am I slobbering?”

My Favorite Laughable Moment: The conversation Coletrane has with Hunter. Hunter’s reaction to being asked if he was a Dom was downright priceless. It was nice to have a little humor mixed in with what would become a heartfelt conversation.

Review of Kinkaid (Bad Boys of Retribution MC #2) by Rie Warren

“Kinky Kaid”

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.):  207 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

From the world of Carolina Bad Boys and Retribution MC, a steamy New Adult standalone novella . . . Magic Mike XXL ain’t got nothin’ on Kinky Kinkaid.

Bonafide pussy magnet. Kinky Kaid I wanna get laid. Yeah, I’ve been called that shit and more. It comes with the territory. See, I’m a male stripper. I shake my moneymaker so I can pay the bills and take care of my people.

I’m also a hardcore, hell-bent biker dude, the newest prospect at Retribution MC. Probie 2.0, and they can never find out how I earn my living. Women love me. They toss their panties at me. They push hundred dollar bills into my G-string. I’m down and dirty and the honeys dig it. All but one.

There’s this girl, Sadie. She’s beautiful and funny and kickass with some major ink. I’d never make a move on her because she’s my best friend.

Best friend? Bullshit. Kinkaid treats me like I’m his kid sister. I’m the hell-raiser, the tomboy dirt biker, his late night call but never like that. He thinks he’s safe from me. I’m going to prove him wrong. I’ll make him see me as a woman one way or the other.

When I find out what Kinkaid’s been hiding there’s hell to pay. Except then he gives me a lap dance. A hot, wicked, panty-melting lap dance. A lap dance that unleashes our intense desire, fresh jealousy, distrust and anger.

Everything changes after that, and not for the better. I love him. I hate him. I can’t lose him. Sometimes I can’t stand him. He’s hot as sin on a sultry lowcountry night, and he’s still my best friend.

I don’t know if he’s man enough to give me what I need.

Warning: Graphic sex, graphic action, graphic language. Triple X caution.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

As best friends Kinkaid and Sadie have the perfect relationship, but he has kept a secret from her. He’s a stripper at GQ. He started doing it to earn money to pay his grandfather’s medical bills, but it turned out he was really good at it and he wasn’t ashamed of what he did…until she found out. And boy did she find out!

Everything changed after that night. Emotions never experienced before by him came raging to life and emotions forever experienced by her went overboard out of control. But best friends cannot stay mad at each other forever and this time when they make up they sure don’t hold anything back.

“You’ve always been everything to me. How can you not see that? And now everything is…endless with you.”

Sadie has always wanted Kinkaid to look at her like he does every other hot babe, but she’s always been more of the tomboy best friend who was looked at more like a kid sister than anything else. She’d never tell him though, she’d just be his friend and hope that one day he’d get his head out of his ass and see her as the woman she was.

Kinkaid had never even looked at Sadie as a woman, then one moment all that changed and he could see her as nothing else but the luscious incredible woman she was. How he had gone so long without noticing was beyond him, but once he did he just couldn’t let go. He had to have her in every way, and he planned on keeping her that way as long as he could stop screwing it up with his mouth. Though his description of himself during the New Year’s countdown was pretty accurate and entertaining.

“This was insane. My usual protective impulse toward her had combined with some serious boyfriend urges and…what? Mating wolves’ possessive tendencies?”

Kinkaid is another great read from Rie Warren. You get a little MC, a little Magic Mike, and some neighbor waking hot sex. The ending kind of just stops and left me staring at my kindle waiting for more words to appear…it didn’t happen! And the introduction to Bo and his new therapist toward the end…WOW! I cannot wait to read that.

My Favorite Ravishing Moment: When Sadie paints Kinkaid. That is one intense and hot painting session. I really really want to see that picture…LOL!

My Favorite Laughable Moment: The MC sure knows how to support one of their own. I couldn’t believe they showed up – and stayed!

“I think we should start calling Probie 2.0 here Donkey Dong.”

Kinkaid Excerpt:

I accepted a stiff drink from Rebel-Mae, the funky punk bartender with the glow-in-the-dark pink fauxhawk, forgetting for a moment I was the Grade-A beef in the joint. No sooner than I took my first sip of Jack, women surrounded me, pressing against me, panting all over me.

I couldn’t very well leave the clients out in the cold. I slung an arm around one of them and smiled at another, raising my eyes in a help-me expression across the bar toward Rebel-Mae when something familiar snagged my gaze.

I did a double take. Then a triple look.

Then my legs almost collapsed out from under me. My heart went sluggish. My body felt cold. My gaze stopped on none other than Sadie my-motherfucking-best-friend Grace.

Holeeey Shit.

She stared at me with wide unblinking eyes and pink spots on her cheeks.

Everything got real hot, real fast. I hadn’t been this nekkie in front of my best girl since . . . oh yeah . . . never. I was acutely aware of that fact as Sadie’s eyes coasted painstakingly from the top of my head all the way to my toes like she was taking inventory.

My heart returned to its normal rhythm then it decided to go one better and jackhammer in my chest. I returned Sadie’s stare with the same scrutiny. No wonder I hadn’t picked her out in the crowd. Sitting about five feet away from me, she looked like a complete stranger . . . a very sexy stranger.

Sadie usually wore paint-splattered coveralls, torn jeans, and baggy T-shirts with her thick hair braided down her back. Tonight her hair hung loose and straight as a sunbeam. It reminded me of the beach at Isle of Palms—a mixture of white gold and sun-spun brown, little sparks of red filtered in. Soft and silky and silty.

It wasn’t just the hair that blew me away. Sadie had curves all of a sudden. Where the hell had those come from? The killer dress was the same turquoise blue as her eyes and made her irises stand out all the more. The dress? Oh man, it was silk or something, cinched at her waist with a straight skirt that didn’t go low enough on her thighs as far as I was concerned. And the top? That was no better. The neckline needed to be a lot higher, turtleneck high, come to think of it. As it was, the damn thing hugged what looked like perfectly round tits, a suspicion supported by the fact a tight V of tawny cleavage was very, very visible.

Finally—dear Lord—her long willowy legs ended in inappropriately strappy, high heels. Not her standard, sexy Fox Racing Moto-X boots. This was not the regulation Sadie uniform I was used to. Her outfit definitely affected the blood pounding through my body—loudly in my ears and coursing lower at an alarming rate to my cock. My cock that was barely covered in black mesh. Yeah, it was about to bulk up.

Sadie only glanced away from me when one of her group tapped her on the shoulder. The chicks giggled and whispered, and my worst fears were soon confirmed. It was a bachelorette party. Yep, one of the babes wore a veil and a white sash that read: Bridezilla! Tall glasses littered the table, and out of each one popped every bride-to-be’s favorite party favor: a plastic penis straw. The women were well lubricated, well on their way to Happyville with a trip to Hangover City in the morning.

Sadie didn’t look happy. Not one bit.

I’d thought her discovering my dirty little secret was the worst of it.

I was proven wrong in the next instant when Sadie’s crazed posse pointed at me, chanting, “LAP DANCE! LAP DANCE! LAP DANCE!”

You have got to be fucking kidding me.

But no. It got a million times worse when Bride-fucking-zilla (that shit was no joke apparently) got up, drunk-swayed over to me, and pushed me at Sadie.

“With her!” Bridezilla shouted as I stumbled in Sadie’s direction.

“WHAT?” I caught myself moments before I face-dived between Sadie’s legs, rocked backward, and then quickly moved clear to the other side of the table. Where my ass was immediately pinched.

Bridezilla looked expectantly at me then Sadie.

“What?” Sadie echoed my question.

“Well, you two can’t keep your eyes off each other,” said the blonde wifey-to-be. “Might as well get your hands in on the action too.”

This can’t be happening . . .

Jesus fucking Christ.

Yahoo! said my cock.

That thing needed a choke on it.

Older brother/best friend? I felt none of those things all of a sudden, especially when Sadie looked in my direction and slowly wet her lips.

Maybe shock and horror wasn’t quite what she was feeling after all.

I was definitely hot-faced, and no way did I want to give my best friend—my hottie hot best friend—a freakin’ lap dance. Unfortunately the rules were the rules.

“Gotta go change first,” I mumbled.

Review of Hunter (Bad Boys of Retribution MC #1) by Rie Warren

A sweet, sexy, and thrilling ride!

Genre: Erotica, Suspense, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.): 215 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

From the world of Carolina Bad Boys! Hunter Sexton is too hot to handle . . .

Hunter: My call-sign is GHOST. My roadname, too. I keep my head down, stay off the grid, fly under the radar. I’m the rough, gruff, good guy who does bad things for pay.

JB is my most recent mistake. The MC babe is innocence wrapped up in a rockin’ body. Don’t get me wrong, she has a wicked side, too. She’s kickass in bed, when we make it that far. But she’s the ultimate wholesome good girl, and I don’t want to dirty her up.

Hey, no one said life was all fun and games, right?

JB: Good girl? I prefer to think of myself as a rebellious hellion. I live my life like I ride my bike: carefree, in your face, and full throttle. My soft side? Well, that’s reserved for my job.

I’m not looking for love, and I certainly don’t need any relationship complications. Too bad complicated is the only way Hunter comes.

He’s a quiet, deadly storm. He prowls. He hunts me. He wants me. He’s sexy, sinful . . . secretive. Hunter will turn my life inside out no thanks to his dangerous past about to come back and bite us both in the ass.

Who’s gonna save us now?

Warning: Graphic sex, graphic action, graphic language. Triple X caution.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Wow what a ride! Rie Warren hits another one out of the park with the sexy and thrilling Hunter.

Hunter has a past where the lines between right and wrong were blurred for the greater good, but after his last job he’s wondering if there really is such a thing. He’s blackened his soul for that good and the only thing keeping him together is the love of a little boy. He doesn’t have anything more to give anyone else…not even the vixen that captures his undivided attention.

“… Well I still call you JB when I dirty-talk to you in my head.”

You’d never guess JB had a day job doing what she does, but oh how it fits her sweet personality. She may seem sexy as hell and completely untouchable to all of the guys, but she’s just being carefree and doing what makes her happy. Two separate lives, one person. There’s only one small hitch…she cannot seem to keep her eyes off Hunter, and he’s a complication she definitely isn’t prepared for.

“… What I really meant to say was keep Hunter in his place.”

“Between my legs?” she replied without batting an eyelash.

Tuck laughed uproariously. I went back to pole-position hard in a nanosecond.

Hunter can run hot and cold, but only because he’s fighting his own demons. JB, on the other hand, can’t stop wanting him no matter what he says or does.

When I remembered that thing called speaking, I choked out, “What the hell is this?”

Her palms skimmed up her sides and landed just beneath her breasts, lifting them higher. “You like it.”

“Woman, I can’t even form a coherent sentence. Like? I am way beyond like.”

Bad Boys of Retribution MC is a spinoff of the Caroline Bad Boys series and Hunter starts it off with a bang. There’s the sweetness of family, the sadness of unshakeable pasts, and it’s all wrapped up in a raging hotness that’ll keep begging for more. Not to mention JB is hilarious. The random things that fall from her mouth will keep you laughing.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: When Hunter goes to the school for a conference and meets the teacher…priceless!
