Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Let me just say that this is one hell of an epilogue. It includes all the couples we fell in love with during the Bad Boys Series along with a few we wondered about. Not to mention a major jump forward at the end for a little extra entertainment.

It’s filled with humor, babies, and lots of sex!

My only suggestion for anyone who reads it is to not read it all in one sitting or you’ll get completely burned out on all the sex scenes like I did.

My Favorite Quotes:

“Since little human beings are coming out of someplace no one but you should ever see. And not like that.” She huffed, cupping the big round mound of her belly while I eased onto 17. “You’re gonna see my cookie. You should’ve had sex with me last night because I’m probably never going to let you back inside.”

Oh and…

“Will you shut those gorgeous blowjob lips for just one second?”

Review of Tail (Carolina Bad Boys #6) by Rie Warren

“Going, going, gone.”

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 236 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

I’m most known for honeys on my arms and notches on my bedpost. But this time, I’m not chasing tail. Every rose has its thorn, and I’ve just been snagged.

TAIL
I have girls lapping out of my hands, forming lines for a chance to dance on my cock. Until she shows up. And it all grinds to a halt. Madison Rose Rush. No joke there. One look at her, and I feel a rush all over my body. I want that thing all the other dudes found. Love. A mate. A classy broad I probably don’t deserve.

I know one thing.

Maddy Rush—Handsome’s sexy sister—is strictly off-limits.

Is that gonna stop me?

Hell. No. Not even with the Bad Seeds MC breathing down my neck for a debt I can’t pay.

MADDY
VP of Retribrewtion Brewery, heiress to the Rush Distillery empire, I’ve played by the family’s rules. I’m community-spirited, high-class, worldly-wise . . . but that doesn’t necessarily mean I’m a good girl.

And Tail makes me want to be bad in ways I never even knew. He’s dangerously gorgeous. He’s affiliated with the same MC as my big brother. He has inked sleeves and sex on the brain and Max warned me away from him.

Is that going to stop me?

Hell no.

Nothing will stop us. Nothing. Until a rival MC—outlaw bikers—retaliates against Tail. Bad Seeds indeed.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

Tail is short for Taylor, but everyone thinks his nickname fits because of all the tail that rotates through his room at the clubhouse. That is until he first sees Maddy and then she’s all he wants. Celibate and focused on woman, besides his mama, is new territory for him, but never once does he ever lose sight of his goal…Maddy.

Maddy is Handsome’s sister and runs Retribrewtion with him. The last thing she wants is to have someone with Tail’s reputation hitting on her, but when he starts showing up with babies in tow for office picnics and other random sweet acts it’s hard to keep saying no.

“Newsflash: babies…cute. But babies didn’t crap unicorn and rainbows. What came out of that tiny little bottom was nasty gunky hazardous waste.”

A debt owed to the Bad Seeds who are becoming a little more threatening, an overprotective brother who wants him far away from his sister, and an ill mother who needs constant supervision…just a normal day for Tail. But what keeps a smile on his face? One Maddy Rush.

Tail, like all of the previous Carolina Bad Boys books, was a fantastic read that had just enough suspense to keep the background interesting and just enough steam to keep the pages fired up.

My Favorite Moment: Bachelor action!

Gliding toward the stage, Maddy parted the sea of people. And when she stood directly in front of me as I toyed with the belt buckle at my waist, she looked up at me.

“Five grand.” Her voice rang out over the crowd, silencing all other bidders.

And that was fucking it. Going, going, gone.

Review of Reaper’s Rival (Satan’s Sons MC #2) by Simone Elise

“I told you a long time ago I loved you unconditionally.”

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 532 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

The steamy and dramatic sequel to the Best Selling Reaper’s Claim by Simone Elise.

After the events of the first book Abby has joined her half sister’s gang Hellbound. Can Reaper claim her back?

Reaper:
This life gives you regrets on a silver platter. This life makes you colder, and there is a coldness in you now Abby, and I don’t like seeing it. It is what I was trying to protect you from. You always had an innocent heart, but something got inside and messed around with it, and I don’t like it. You can come back from this. Let me take all the bad from you, so you can go back to being you. Ain’t ever gonna stop trying to make you mine.

Abby:
You have to lose yourself to really find yourself. You have to crawl through the dark times to understand and crave the light. And sometimes you need to lose the man you love to realize that what you had in the first place was in fact love. We had a history between us. But more importantly, we had love between us and time doesn’t affect love, or at least I hope it won’t affect our love. Right now I don’t belong anywhere, but I know that no matter what happens or where I am, my heart will always belong to him.

Being together might be dangerous, but outlaws are meant to break the rules.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from Inkitt in exchange for an honest review*

First I have to say that I was given an ARC of Reaper’s Claim (Satan’s Sons MC #1) and apparently it was split into two separate books because most of what is in Reaper’s Rival was in the original copy I read/reviewed, therefore, my review fits for this book too. However, there is one part that was added and for me it not only messed up the flow of the story, but it also added a few continuity issues. I personally liked the original version better.

***   ***   ***   ***

Abby was the President of Satan Son’s MC’s daughter. Her and her twin sister were raised in the club and although she may hate it at times it’s who she is.

Reaper isn’t the type of man you want to cross paths with and he was perfectly fine with who he was…until he realized how much Abby kept crossing his mind.

“I would never let you down. I would never have hurt you. I would have given up everything for you. I would have fought everything and everyone for you. You were my world, Abby, and you just ripped it away from me.”

Reaper’s Rival isn’t just one plot, its several wrapped up in motorcycles, club politics, tightly wound emotions, and some badass people. This isn’t a sweet romance, this is a look into the keep dark corners of club life and how it affects all the people in it. Abby and Reaper may have a connection that keeps pulling them back to one another, but when they’re apart all hell breaks loose.

There is so much that happens in this book that I feel like giving any details will give away the storyline. I can say this… Satan’s Sons MC is a very long story, it starts when Abby is 16 and takes place over many years. I’m not sure where Reaper’s Claim left off since I originally read the version where book one and two were all one book, however I cans say that the pages are still filled with perfect balances of love and hate; passion and death; pain and family; misunderstandings and trust. It was easy to get pulled into, but let me warn you there is one hell of a cliffhanger ending.

“This, you and I; we aren’t over.”

Genre: Contemporary Romance, MC Romance, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 400 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

In my motorcycle club I’ve earned the name ‘Reaper’ and now I have my claim on Abby Harrison.

Reaper:
I didn’t know what love was, but I knew what want was, and I wanted Abby. When I walked out of the club and saw her I was stone cold sober. She was quietly beautiful and unlike any other woman I’d had before. But she was the daughter of the president of Satan’s Sons MC and completely out of my reach.

Abby:
Everyone knew The Reaper and how he got his name, so I never expected him to be my salvation when my sisters drunk boyfriend wanted to lay hands on me. I thought my innocence would be lost in that alley, until he showed up and saved me. I know being with Reaper will lead to trouble, but I don’t know if I have the strength to stay away.

Review of Rush (Carolina Bad Boys #5) by Rie Warren

rush

Temptation at its Finest

Genre: Erotica, Suspense, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.): 294 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars . . . I’m the most unsuitable dude for pretty girl-next-door Shiloh Lockhart.

MAX HANDSOME RUSH
I’m the black sheep of the Rush family, cut off from the bourbon distillery dynasty. Shrug. They didn’t approve of the high-octane rap sheet of arrests marring my pretty boy, prep school upbringing. Hot girls, hot cars, and time behind bars for illegal street racing—what can I say? Speed is in my blood.

Now I’ve cleaned up. I’m being good. I’ve got my own plans, and they for damn sure don’t include Shiloh Lockhart. Shy. The goddamn classic girl next door. She shows up out of the clear blue, turning all the MC dudes into drooling manwhores. But not me. I’ve got too much to lose to risk falling for a perfect girl like her.

When Shy’s overprotective folks tell her I’m bad news, they’re right. But come to find out she’s already endured more than her fair share of shit-gone-bad in her life, and she’s convinced I won’t make it any worse. Shy couldn’t be more wrong.

SHILOH LOCKHART
I haven’t seen Max since he got kicked out of the Rush family home years ago. Now I’m determined to get back in touch with the boy I used to crush on growing up. They call him Handsome at the motorcycle club he belongs to, and I can see why. The long dark brown hair. The smoldering whiskey-colored eyes. The sculpted face and big muscled body.

Too bad he’s intent on treating me like a kid sister. Hmm. We’ll see how long that lasts, because to squash this schoolgirl crush I need to be with Max just once . . . turns out one taste of Rush isn’t enough.

My situation is life threatening, but what he’s hiding is even more dangerous. Too late. Rush is already in my blood.

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received an ARC of this book free from the author in exchange for an honest review*

If you’ve been reading the series then you know who Handsome is. He’s always been kind of the silent one out of the bunch, but pull his hair out of his face and add in a new fitness routine and he has even more ladies drooling than before.

Max (Handsome) was rejected from his family and the lifestyle he once knew, but Retribution is family now and he wouldn’t trade them for anything. They’re supportive of not only him, but his dreams; the way only family should be. When someone from his childhood appears at the clubhouse one day out of nowhere he’s left speechless. No where is the young girl he remembered, and believe me he sure does trying finding her underneath the sexy bombshell she is now.

“Spinning with my hands skimming the excess before it reached my abs, I was heart-stopped by Shy’s hungry look. At Me. Oh God. This wasn’t gonna end good. I needed a T-shirt. Chains to lock me up. To tase myself, maybe, as she advanced.”

Shiloh got dealt a bad hand, but she’s doing everything she can to make the best of it. Now she’s going after the one thing she’s always wanted, but could never have, Max, and she isn’t taking no for an answer. She’s sweet, loveable, and determined; all the things that spell disaster for Max.

“If I told you you just broke me, would you still let me sleep with you on top of me tonight?”

Once Max overcomes the fact he cares for Shiloh they’ll make an unstoppable team. They’ll be there for each other, help each other’s dreams come true, and even be there when disaster strikes. And disaster definitely strikes. My heart broke for Shiloh and what she goes through.

I don’t think I can ever sing enough praise for Rie Warren. Both the Caroline Bad Boys and Bad Boys of Retribution series blends action, suspense, raw emotion, and a sizzling hotness. The characters and storylines intermingle throughout both series and the way it all comes together is pure art. Rush is another example of her greatness.

“We’re gonna go slow. Then I’m gonna fuck you so hard you’ll ask me to drill you into the mattress again, as soon as you get your voice back from screaming my name.”

Blog Tour – Review of Beast (Righteous Outlaws #4) by Savannah Rylan

beast

No Rest For The Wicked

Genre: Romantic Suspense, MC Romance

Book Length (Est.): 235 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Bentley “Beast” Harris became a Righteous Outlaw over a decade ago and never looked back. He gained the reputation as being the deadliest among the Outlaws, a skilled killer with no remorse or regrets. What his brothers don’t know is beneath the dark, death stare, and permanent scowl, he is drowning in regrets from a past he can never go back to.

Ryan Stanson grew up with dreams of becoming a police officer like her father, despite her mother’s objections. After a deadly mistake that took the life of her partner, Ryan is ready to leave the dangerous city life behind her and go home to Black Hills to start over. When Ryan takes a call to check out the local docks, she soon realizes that the small town she grew up in is more dangerous than the city she left behind, and Beast is at the center of it all.

Two damaged souls, refusing to forgive themselves for mistakes of the past, are brought together. With one on the right side of the law and the other on the wrong side, will what they share be enough to destroy the divide that keeps them apart? And will these two be able to come to terms with their pasts before they destroy themselves and everyone they love in the process?

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from Mark My Words Book Publicity in exchange for an honest review*

Beast has a past he doesn’t like anyone to know about. You’d think with how secretive he is about it that it would be filled with illegal things instead of the kind of things people would be proud of, but to him it’s nothing to be proud of and he’d like for it to stay right where it’s meant to be…in the past. The problem with that is Ryan can be one nosey little woman and Beast can’t help but succumb to her questioning.

“… You made me want you. Want something I swore I would never want again. I fought it. Every second I was with you, I fought it. But I can’t anymore. And I don’t want to.”

Ryan is supposed to be the Righteous Outlaws’ new link to the town law enforcement, but when Beast discovers she’s a woman and not a man things won’t go as planned. For either of them.

Ryan thought moving home and taking over for her father would be a walk in the park compared to the city, but she was wrong. With the Army trying to move into the Righteous Outlaws’ territory she’s basically walking into a war zone. One with murder, car bombs, and things she’s better off not knowing about.

“He tasted like a pungent mix of sin and desire that left me completely intoxicated and frantic for more.”

Beast is a story of the fine line between right and wrong, law and crime. It’ll dance the slim gray area between the two and leave you feeling the light amongst the dark.

The relationship between Beast and Ryan is as sweet as it is intense. Their fiery passion leapt from the pages. And the Righteous Outlaws remind us of how important family is and how there are no lengths too long when it comes to protecting them.

On a side note, I have noticed that some people say this can be read as a standalone, but I wouldn’t recommend it. There is an underlying story that continues throughout every book and you have to read them all and in order if you want to understand it.

My Favorite Moment: There comes a time when Ryan will stand up for what’s right and for the man who deserves it even if he doesn’t believe so himself and she’ll do it in front of the entire town.

Blog Tour – Review of Dice (Righteous Outlaws #3) by Savannah Rylan

Dice

Lies and Desires

Genre: MC Romance, Suspense

Book Length (Est.): 216 Pages

Book Description/Synopsis:

Dice Warren has always been the comic relief of the Righteous Outlaws. Always the first to make the others smile, and the last to take anything seriously. But, when tragedy struck and his best friend/sister found her happy ending, Dice was left feeling lost and a little alone. Until he meets Allison.

Allison Tyler just wanted to meet her brother. She had the courage all worked up, but lost her confidence, and somehow ended up as her nephew’s nanny. When she meets Dice, his personality is like a breath of fresh air, and she finds herself falling for him even though she thinks his line of work may be dangerous.

Can Dice find peace with Allison? Will Allison be able to tell her brother who she really is? Can these two lost souls get their happily ever after?

Jennifer’s Review:

*I received this book free from Mark My Words Book Publicity in exchange for an honest review*

If you’ve read the first two books then you know who Dice is, and if you’re like me you couldn’t wait to get to his book. He’s the best friend and brother to Sienna, the one who’s always there, and this time he’ll find that someone special who will give him a new perspective on life…and the club. Especially after he looses someone close to him.

Allison got in over her head from day one. All she wanted was to meet her half-brother, to know she had family somewhere in the world. What she didn’t expect was to suddenly be interviewed for a nanny position for her nephew and then get it. It’s hard to come forth with the truth when you start with a lie. But she’ll meet someone who makes it all worth while, someone she knew she should stay away from, but someone who draws her in at every turn. Dice.

He’ll bring out her little bit of recklessness and she’ll bring out his deepest desires.

“I’m not getting in that thing.”

“Why not?”

“First of all, it’s a chick mobile.”

“It is not. It’s better for the environment and a lot of guys drive Priuses.”

“Did you check to see if they still had their balls?”

As the third book in the Righteous Outlaws series I expected a little more development into the storyline with the rival clubs, but there wasn’t nearly enough there to satisfy my ever-growing curiosity. If anything the rift with the other clubs is just there to tie the books together and nothing more, but it would be nice to see more of it throughout the series.

I enjoyed the relationship between Dice and Allison. They had a magnetism that was fun to watch develop. The downside was the ending; it felt rushed. For Allison being Kade’s sister, there isn’t much to the story except a vague sort of overview. The ending was more like a here’s what happened and this is how everyone reacted, but none of it went into much detail.

My Favorite Laughable Moment: I loved the story about how Dice got his name. I loved even more when Allison slips out his real name in front of the other club members.
