“You miss my body, but I miss your soul.”
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Book Length (Est.): 173 pages
It was supposed to be a job, plain and simple.
But it became so much more than that. I fell hard for Michael Monroe and ruined my life in the process.
I lost everything I cared about. But in the end, I did what I came to do.
He’s back with his family, starting to heal. And I’m left with a crippling addiction to that same charming, damaged boy-turned-man.
I have my family back, but I lost her.
I let her in more than anyone before. And now, she’s gone, taking my secrets with her.
Part of me is happy she’s far away from me. The other part aches to be near her again.
When it comes to Dani, I don’t mind this crippling addiction.
*Unbroken is part 2 of Michael and Dani’s story. It’s recommended that you read part 1, Unbreakable before reading this one.
*I received this book free from the author.*
Remember when Nicole dropped that cliffhanger on us when Unbreakable ended? Yep, she did that. But now she has blessed us with this jewel!
Dani lost everything when she took the job to make sure Michael did not get into any trouble. Once his family realized that he was back Dani lost her best friend Cassie for lying to her and she lost Michael for falling in love with him.
Michael is now doing great in his racing career and staying out of trouble with a new assistant. He has his family back and spends time with them often.
Unbroken picks up a year later. I honestly think that Dani and Michael needed that time apart. They are going crazy without each other but I think the time apart makes them so much stronger. They are both addicted to each other and are unable to get enough. They have so much love for each other that the pages are on fire (or at least my kindle was).
I cannot wait to see what else we get from the Monroe’s. Yes, I am in love with this family!
